Mister Donut can be considered as the cheapest commercialized donut in the Philippines. I can’t say much about this donut brand because I only bought this twice. The first time was years ago, where I got disappointed. And the second time was today. Reason? It is the cheapest donut brand I know. So I gave it a second try to see if there are improvements or whatsoever. For the record, it costs P14.00 to P17.00 per donut as of writing. So is it worth it?

Honestly, it did not met my expectations even though I already considered the price. Why? First, the donut itself does not look appealing to me. Though it still looks like a donut. But it is a little smaller than a regular sized donut.

Second, on your first bite, you’ll see that the donut has air inside as it has many spaces on it. It is not completely soft and somewhat dry. I am a little confused on flavors on donut with fillings. I thought I bought 3 different fillings namely mocha, coffee and chocolate. But to my dismay, I honestly did not recognize the difference between the 3 flavors when I tasted it. I just let my boyfriend consumed it all.

I actually placed the remaining donuts in my refrigerator, but it just didn’t get any better when it’s cold. I would like to say sorry to Mister Donut fans. I have nothing against Mister Donut, but this is what I felt when I ate this. I am a little disappointed again with this donut. No hate please. We all have our own preferences. And I respect yours. Thank you for reading my review.
