Days after my first visit at Chicken BonChon SM City Lucena Branch. I went back to the restaurant just to order the dish that caught my attention on my last visit. That was the Glazed Chicken Fries. At first, I thought that it is P105.00 for 5 pieces Glazed Chicken Fries but sad to say. The cashier said that is P149.00 for 5 pieces Glazed Chicken Fries with 2 flavored dips. You can only buy 3 pieces Glazed Chicken Fries for P105.00 with 1 dip according to the staff.

So, I bought 5 pieces for “Take-Out” to try it and had chosen Spicy Mayo Dip from the old flavors and Miso Sesame Ranch Dip from the new selection of flavored dip. Upon arriving at home, I cooked rice and started eating. There is nothing extra special on this Glazed Chicken Fries. It is just a glazed chicken cut into strips bigger than servings of fries. It is not that salty and not too sweet which is positive remark. And the good news? It is palatable or should I say pleasant to my taste perfect for my rice combination. The Spicy Mayo Dip is not spicy but good. It not very remarkable. Miso Sesame Ranch Dip just tastes like a Tuna Spread. Nothing so special. Overall, it is worth trying but I won’t be buying it again for P149.00 just for the 5 strips of chicken.
