When I have discovered that paying Meralco Bill using Smart Money is possible. I have immediately tried it and had been continuously doing it for more than a year now. No problems encountered with it as of the moment. So here I am now sharing this to you.

Using Smart Money to pay your utility bills is much more convenient and easier than traveling to payment centers and falling in line. It will definitely save your time, energy and effort. Plus, it does not have any additional charges.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Using your Smart Mobile Phone, Go to Smart Menu > Smart Money > Pay Bills > Others

Step 2: Please enter the Biller Code then press OK or Enter.
Note: The Biller Code assigned to Meralco is 05010

Step 3: Key in your Meralco Account Number then press OK or Enter
Note: The account number that you need to key in is the 16-digit ATM/Phone Reference Number located at the front page of your bill beside Service ID No (S.I.N.).

Step 4: Select the Smart Money account you want to use.

Step 5: Enter the Amount then press OK or Enter.
Note: If you need to enter decimal point, use # instead of period. For example: 1644#82

Step 6: Enter your Smart Money wPIN.

Step 7: Wait for the confirmation SMS

Please note that your payment will be posted within 1 to 3 banking days. Remember, you can only use Smart Money to pay your Meralco bill on or before your bill’s due date. If you failed to pay your bill on or before due date, it is recommended that you pay your bill at the nearest Meralco branch at your place.
