I was on a vacation trip in Ilocos (province located in the northern part of luzon in the Philippines) when I have used this product. The reason? I forgot my Naturactor and sunscreen at home, so I have to look for an alternate product to protect my skin while on vacation.

Why I have decided to Buy Maybelline BB White SPF 50?
Since I am looking for a BB cream with sunscreen. That time, Maybelline BB White with SPF 50 is the perfect choice for me. It claims to have high SPF 50, makes skin brighten instantly, evens tone, smoothes pores, corrects the appearance of dark spots, conceals imperfections, hydrates skin and stay on skin for 12 hours. Good claims indeed. And to add, it is a Maybelline product which is a reputable and popular beauty product brand. So without hesitation, I have chosen to try Maybelline BB White SPF 50 that day and here is my honest review about the product.

What “I LIKE” about Maybelline BB White SPF 50?
1: The packaging is travel friendly.
2: Light weight, not heavy on face good for daily use.
3: It gives subtle finish, light coverage.
4: Contains UV protection and high SPF compared to other BB creams at local stores.
5: Suitable on cold weather.
6: Brightens up skin tone effectively.
7: Available at popular local beauty stores in the Philippines.

What “I DON’T LIKE” about Maybelline BB White SPF 50?
1: Feels sticky on face.
2: Does not cover pores effectively.
3: Not suitable for oily skin.
4: I am not a fan of the scent. But to be fair, I can tolerate the smell of the product.
5: A little pricey for me. Costs P259.00 for an 18 ml tube.
6: Watery consistency, I had a hard time blending it to my skin.
7: I am having breakouts every time I use it.

Would I Recommend Maybelline BB White SPF 50?
Good claims makes my expectations so high for this product. I am very sorry to say that this product did not met my expectations. I do not recommend any product that makes me breakout. Maybelline BB White SPF 50 is a NO for me. Sorry. Thank you for reading my review.
